She's The Man

She's The Man with Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum, among other actors/actresses, is a modern remake of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". It is an amazing movie because it's so funny, but it is also kind of a 'chick flick', so if you dont like chick flicks then you should just watch this anyway because it would be a good way to 'broaden your horizons'. If I, a person who dislikes scary movies, can watch Signs then a person who dislikes chick flicks can watch She's The Man. Reasons why I think it's good:

• Everybody's love is unrequited, the person they are attracted to is attracted to someone else.
• Amanda Bynes pretends to be a guy.
• The scene in the restaurant where she is pretending to be a guy and her friends pretend to be her past girlfriends.
• Everything works out in the end for everyone.
• In "Twelfth Night" a character is the Duke of Orsino and in the movie his name is Duke Orsino.

Just watch the movie. Or read the book. The movie is easier to understand.

Smosh: Food Battles

The 2 Smosh guys from YouTube, Ian & Anthony, are absolutely hilarious. I love all of their videos, so I make my friends watch them with me because it's more fun to laugh about them with other people than by myself. I want you to watch their latest battle, Food Battle 2011. Try not to pee your pants laughing please, it'll make quite a mess.




Now that you've watched that awesome video, you need to go back and watch all of their other Food Battles. You'll notice that the Food Battles get better as they get older, probably because they have more experience making videos. Best parts of Food Battle 2011:

• Anthony: "Your mom could've used some deoderant last night!" *Ian punches Anthony*
• The bikini girl licking Anthony's 'lollypop deoderant' then throwing up after smelling Ian's 'pink frosted sprinkled donut depderant'
• Ian: "Let's do...a blow up doll! Just kidding you perv!"
• Ian laughing like a psycho, while poisoning Anthony's lollypop, saying "Take that Anthony you son of a bitch!"

Also, they have awesome songs on Amazon. I recommend their song Firetruck. Their album info is below.

The Mummy Movies (1999 & 2001 versions, not black & white)

The first two Mummy movies are my favorite movies. What's not to like about them? They have a great hero, Rick (great job Brendan Fraser!), and heroine, Evy (whom I absolutely love). The supporting characters add even more humor to these family adventure movies. The supporting characters being Jonathan, Eve's brother, Alex, Rick & Eve's son (2nd movie), and Ardeth Bay. Of course the antagonist is a mummy, self-explanatory from the title. Fraser sums up the movies in a quote from The Mummy Returns: "Rescue the damsel in distress, kill the bad guy, save the world."

I'm not including the third movie because I didn't like it. Reasons:

• Different actress for Evy
• Alex is an adult and his parents only look a little older than him
• It isn't staged in Egypt

I wanted to buy both movies on DVD to take to college with me, but it was in the box trilogy and I did not want the third one. So I got a 3 movie set of The Mummy, The Mummy 2, and The Scorpion King. The Scorpion King is also a good movie, it goes off of the Mummy movies. If you want to check out the same movies I got, you can from the link below. The Darkfever Series by Karen Marie Moning

This is a must read series. It has fantasy, suspense, and romance, everything you need in a good book. It is about a girl, Mac, whose sister dies in Ireland. So, naturally, she goes to Ireland to figure out who killed her sister and gets into all sorts of trouble. I'm not putting any spoilers on here, so it's safe for the people who havn't read it yet. I have 2 main reasons why I love this book series:
1. Jericho Barrons

• Intimidating
• Mysterious and evasive
• He's not human-we don't know what he is
• Hero/Anti-hero at the same time
• Almost every single thing he says it hilarious, especially what he says to Mac

2. Plot Twists

• What &/or who Mac is (not human)
• Who the person that killed Mac's sister turns out to be
• The reason that Barrons wants the Sinsar Dubh
• Cruce

If you havn't read this series yet, then I highly reccomend it. You won't be dissapointed. It will keep you occupied for hours, trust me, I know. You can learn more about the book and even buy it if you want to, by clicking on the picture of it underneath my review.
